Pilot Project 4: Blockchain Interface
This pilot project designs, develops and tests example software that will interact with the spine and share the agreed and trusted information required across the supply chain to the customer. Integrating with the Blockchain spine API from pilot project 3 in the various information systems across the supply chain is an enormous task. Using Riversimple as the case study, this pilot project aims to develop prototypes to be tested with a select number of Riversimple’s suppliers (and possibly customers) in West Wales and the Valleys and, of course, Riversimple itself.
Suppliers will need to be recruited to work to integrate the Riversimple blockchain solution built under pilot project 3 into their own business management systems via the API developed in this pilot project. In addition, Riversimple’s own systems will need to be developed to interface for the addition of data and the examination of existing data.
